Labuan Bajo (LBJ) is the only practical embarkation point for Komodo National Park. It has a small international-standard airport, a working port, dive centres and the full logistics chain — fuel, fresh provisions, tender transfers — that private yachts need.
Labuan Bajo airport is 15 to 25 minutes from the main harbour. Most private yacht charters include the airport-to-yacht transfer. We strongly recommend arriving the day before your charter to avoid domestic flight delays; a night at a Labuan Bajo hotel with harbour views is the standard pattern.
