Meals and drinks
Full-board is standard: three chef-prepared meals plus snacks. Menus can be customised for dietary needs. Wine and cocktail programs vary — some yachts include house selection; others operate on consumption or BYO with corkage.
Diving and snorkeling
Snorkel gear is nearly always included. Diving usually incurs a per-dive or per-day fee. See diving equipment.
Komodo National Park fees
Park fees vary by weekday, weekend and public holiday. Crews collect and pay at ranger stations — you'll see a transparent line item on your final invoice.
APA explanation
Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) is common on premium yachts. A percentage (usually 20–30%) of the charter fee is collected upfront to cover variable costs (fuel above allowance, park fees, drinks, extras). Unused APA is refunded at the end of the charter.
Crew gratuity
Crew gratuity is discretionary and paid at the end of the charter. A typical range is 5–15%of the charter fee, split by the captain.
