Samara II is a 23 m traditional Indonesian phinisi with a modern interpretation: stylish interiors designed to draw in natural light, a sundeck for sunbathing, and a shaded foredeck built as an outdoor gathering spot. She accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 cabins — two with a queen bed plus a single bunk (Bali & Flores) and two with a queen bed (Sulawesi & Rote), all air-conditioned — sharing 2 bathrooms with hot & cold showers and eco-friendly amenities. A crew of 6 (captain, supervisor/bartender, engineer, chef, housekeeper and tender operator) runs 3- to 9-night private Komodo itineraries from Labuan Bajo. Onboard equipment includes Starlink Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker, snorkelling gear, paddleboards, life jackets, refillable tumblers and a 6.2 m tender with a Yamaha 40 HP outboard. A state-of-the-art solar system charges batteries during the day so machinery can be shut down at night, keeping the anchorage silent and reducing the yacht's carbon footprint. The layout — sofa lounge, interior bar, dining room, sunshade deck, sundeck and foredeck seating — is well suited to a small family, a romantic getaway or a honeymoon on a boutique, human-scale yacht.

Full board — daily breakfast, lunch and dinner plus an afternoon coffee break with snacks, prepared by Chef Rusman (onboard since 2015). The menu blends Indonesian and international dishes: fresh seafood (grilled fish, tuna gulai, shrimp with rica-rica sauce, pan-fried fish), chicken and beef mains, tofu / tempeh and vegetable sides, salads, pastas (aglio olio, arrabbiata, bolognese) and desserts such as gelato, silky pudding and banana fritter. Breakfast covers pancakes, French toast, croissants, hash browns, eggs to order, fruit platter, smoothies, juice, coffee and tea. Sample 3D2N menu available on request; ingredients rotate with the local market. A free one-off beach dinner set-up is included on bookings of 3 nights or more.
Menu highlights: Sample 3D2N rotation — Day 1 lunch: egg drop soup with corn, shrimp rica-rica, grilled fish, tofu/tempeh teriyaki; Day 1 dinner: pasta aglio olio, chicken arrabbiata, gelato. Day 2 dinner: pasta bolognese, pan-fried fish, silky pudding. Breakfast à la carte plus a daily table set-up.
Non-alcoholic drinks (mineral water in refillable tumblers, tea and coffee) are included. Alcoholic beverages are billed separately from the bar menu (prices in IDR): classic cocktails 180–220K (mojito, margarita, negroni, gin & tonic, whisky sour, piña colada, aperol spritz), beers 40–50K, soft drinks 20K/can, spirits by the bottle from 700K (Smirnoff, Bombay Sapphire, Johnnie Walker Red, Jose Cuervo). Wines from 650K (McWilliams Shiraz) up to 4,150K (Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve); champagnes include Duval-Leroy, Moët & Chandon and Chandon Brut. Corkage IDR 150,000 per bottle if you bring your own alcohol.
Samara II is set up for snorkelling and shore excursions rather than scuba diving. Guided dive services can be arranged with local Labuan Bajo dive operators on request.
