Why this yacht

Why Rebel works for Komodo

Rebel is a traditional handmade Phinisi launched in 2020 in Sulawesi, Indonesia, with an ironwood hull, hand-woven fabrics and tribal-inspired carvings. Across four spacious deck areas she accommodates up to 10 guests in five air-conditioned en-suite cabins — a master suite and Cabin 4 on the upper deck plus Cabins 1–3 on the main deck — with a saloon and lounge, sheltered al fresco dining for 10, a specially crafted wine cellar and a rooftop that doubles as a yoga deck and cinema under the stars. An 11-strong crew includes an onboard PADI dive instructor, and the yacht carries two inflatable tenders plus a full water-sports arsenal — scuba and snorkelling gear, four sea kayaks, three SUPs, a wakeboard, a towable inflatable and two spear guns. Rebel sails Komodo National Park from May to October and cruises Raja Ampat, the Spice Islands, the Ring of Fire and Wakatobi across the rest of the year.
