Ikan Kayu is a 32 m traditional phinisi hand-built in the classic Sulawesi style, running private charters through Komodo National Park and the tropical shores of East Sumbawa. Accommodation spans two decks: one double cabin on the upper deck next to the wheelhouse and four suite-style doubles on the main deck around the indoor lounge and galley, all air-conditioned with ocean views and private en-suite bathrooms. The base configuration is 10 guests, with capacity for up to 13 on request (extra passenger at USD 250 / night). She carries a 9-strong crew across marine and hospitality departments led by captain Imam Basuki (30+ years at sea), cruise director Paskal and chef Joko, whose kitchen blends Indonesian, European, Japanese, Chinese and Middle-Eastern cuisines served family style on the shaded main-deck dining table or outside on secluded beaches. Onboard toys include paddleboards, a banana boat, snorkelling gear and beach games; a 5.5 m / 85 HP speedboat tender handles reef drops, beach landings and manta drifts, and diving is available on request at additional cost.

Meals are served family style at the main-deck table or outside, with a daily breakfast buffet plus à la carte options (eggs any style, nasi/mie goreng, pancakes) and a rotating 7-day lunch and dinner menu that includes beef rendang, Thai tom yum, chicken pad thai, banana-leaf fish, grilled lobster and classic desserts (crème brûlée, mango sticky rice, cheesecake). Beach dinners and picnics are arranged on request depending on the itinerary.
Menu highlights: 7-day family-style rotation — lunches include Indonesian roasted chicken, grilled prawns, gado-gado with chicken satay, pesto pasta, fish ceviche, tuna teriyaki and roasted chicken with mustard sauce; dinners include beef stroganoff, pizza and pasta night, Thai tom yum with pad thai, beef rendang with banana-leaf fish, chicken masala, grilled salmon and a seafood-and-grilled-lobster finale. Daily breakfast buffet covers breads, butter and jams, bacon and sausages, grilled tomatoes, yogurt, smoothie, cereals and fresh fruit, plus à la carte eggs, nasi/mie goreng and pancakes.
Inclusive non-alcoholic drinks package covers fresh single or mixed juices (avocado, banana, dragon fruit, papaya, lemon, mango, orange, pineapple, watermelon), bottled juices, milkshakes (banana, Oreo, strawberry, vanilla), soft drinks (Coke, Fanta, Sprite, tonic, soda), hot and iced coffees (Americano, cappuccino, latte, chocolate milk) and a full tea and infusion list.
